WHS BPA DO’S

Do find out who is knocking on your door before opening it.

Do make sure the night lock is on.

Do wear your BPA name badge at all times
Do take all the luggage you want, but remember that you must carry it all yourself.

Do put your name on each piece of luggage.

Do stay in groups of at least 3 students.  There is a safety in numbers
Do not go anywhere alone.

Do keep the bus clean.

Do make every effort to hold down the noise while in the hotel.

Do shut doors quietly.  There are other paying guests on the floor who will not appreciate the noise.

Do remember to bring your bathing suit and a bathing cap.

Do attend school on the day before we leave and Monday after we return.

Do discourage your friends from acting improperly.
Do close your window curtains when in the room.
Do mind your own business and discourage conversation with strangers who are not connected with BPA.
WHS BPA DON’TS
Don’t smoke on the bus, in the hotel, or anywhere else.

Don’t drink!!!  NO DRINKING OF ANY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES PERIOD!!!

Don’t be in possession of  marijuana or narcotics in any form.

Don’t take SOUVENIRS FROM THE HOTEL OR ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

Don’t leave any money or valuables in your hotel room.

Don’t allow any boys to enter girls rooms or girls to enter boys rooms unchaperoned.

Don’t slam your hotel room door or make any undue noise.

Don’t accept rides with anyone.
Don’t be stupid or naive.  If you are out looking for trouble, you will find it.

Don’t order anything from room service.  It is very expensive and you will be expected to tip approximately 15 to 20 %.

Don’t make any long distance phone calls from your hotel room unless they are collect calls.

Don’t GO ANYWHERE ALONE!!! or leave the hotel without permission!!!!

Don’t wear night clothes-even covered by a robe-in the elevators or public areas or the hotel
Don’t leave your room after curfew and room check. BY ROOM CHECK WE MEAN THAT YOU WILL BE READY FOR SLEEPING.  YOUR ADVISORS WILL DO A FACE CHECK.
Don’t make phone calls to rooms after curfew.
Don’t give your room number to anyone.
Don’t pay any attention to the people working in the office building next to ours. Close your curtains!
VIOLATIONS OF RULES RESULTS IN A MANDATORY, IMMEDIATE TRIP HOME AT YOUR PARENTS’ EXPENSE ON WHATEVER TRANSPORTATION IS THE MOST READILY AVAILABLE.  SHOULD THE OFFENSE BE A POLICE MATTER, SUCH AS POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL OR NARCOTICS, YOU WILL BE TAKEN TO THE NEAREST POLICE STATION, AND YOUR PARENTS WILL HAVE TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOUR TRANSPORTATION HOME.  IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU CANNOT ABIDE BY THESE RULES, IT WILL BE BEST IF YOU DO NOT MAKE THE TRIP.  ANYONE WHO IS CAUGHT DISOBEYING THESE RULES WILL RELINQUISH ALL RIGHTS TO BELONG TO BPA FOR THE REST OF THEIR HIGH SCHOOL CAREER.
ANOTHER FACT THAT YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF!!!  ANY STUDENT WHO IS FOUND TO BE IN VIOLATION OF THE STATE RULES REGARDING THE DO’S AND DON’TS CAN PUT THE ENTIRE CLUB IN JEOPARDY.  IN THE PAST, SEVERAL CLUBS HAVE HAD ALL OF THEIR MEMBERS DISQUALIFIED BECAUSE OF THE ACTIONS OF ONE MEMBER. WE HAVE FOUND THAT WE CAN HAVE A MARVELOUS TIME BY FOLLOWING ALL OF THE RULES. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO A SUCCESSFUL, ENTERTAINING TRIP.
