MULTIMEDIA

Multimedia is a class that was offered for the first time at Westwood last year.  In this class, students develop skills in image manipulation using Adobe Photoshop, and are introduced to the issues involved in developing creative multimedia projects.  Students also learn to create, import, edit and manipulate a variety of multimedia elements, including sound, text, video, and graphics in the development of multimedia presentations using Adobe Premiere and/or iMovie.  In the process, these students develop competence in the use of digital cameras, scanners, digital video cameras, and other peripheral equipment.
