There are many paths that one can take in one’s day to day life. There is always the path of least resistance, and this differs from individual to individual, but in the majority of the population, this path involves conforming to the beliefs and demands of your culture, regardless of where your heart leads you. Very few people actually “follow their hearts” in their regular lives, leading them to one day look around themselves and ask, “What am I doing? Who am I anyway?” You hear this referred to as a “mid-life crisis” by many people, and there are those who find comfort in their religion, art, or other beliefs/practices during these times. However, this crashing phase of one’s life can be avoided by finding the truth at a young age, and I hope to bring as many people to “awareness” as I can within my lifetime. One can discover peace, strength, and truth by following the dictates of one’s heart, as said by some of the greatest philosophers and writers in the history of the world. Regardless of religion, race, age, sex, or other such determining factors, people can arrive at the same basic truths that connect all things through self-actualization and transcendent thinking. To explain how these things are achieved, allow me to begin from the basics. In the following pages, I will outline how one can rise above the everyday and begin to know higher worlds through reflection and thought. I will be following the method of Rudolf Steiner, an Austrian philosopher who founded the Anthroposophical Society, author of “Intuitive Thinking as a Spiritual Path”. In order to assist the teaching of the philosophy, it would be helpful as well for me to explain a bit about his ideas, and how his theories were manifested. It must be made clear to the reader that this site is a reflection of subjective spiritual research. If someone is searching for facts that can be proven in the material world within this site, they clearly misunderstand western esotericism. The entire objective of this website is to urge the viewer to move beyond the limited sphere of human sense perception as a means to gain knowledge. For example, if one says of a statement I make, "That is not a fact- that is merely opinion", they are completely missing the point of the entire work. The truth of my statements lies within the human individual soul and will; it does not lie in numbers, graphs, rules, or meter. This does not, however, make the statements illegitimate; rather, they hold much more validity than most of what our culture deems "truth". The statements are strengthened by their base in human soul, not weakened. They are still proven quite effectively here, and even more effectively in my source reading. Once a reader understands this idea, an entire world of esoteric research opens up to him/her. This will open the window to a higher realm of experience, allowing one to experience new ideas, feelings, and insights.
